My writing style is more free write than anything. I try to make sense of what is in my head and write it on paper then review it and finally type it out. To some it is confusing and challenging to them but I find it is the easiest way for me.
One thing about my academic challenges would be this blog and my little knowledge on the computer. I am a slow typer and my wife has to help me get through some of the computer stuff.
I am hoping that school will give me a positive start on a career because I am a laborer by trade and a wildland fire fighter. Which both have beaten me up pretty good. I need an easier career and a more rewarding one.

Tell your wife thank you for her help. I imagine being a wildland fire fighter is hard on the entire family. I forget where you are located? One of my daughters lived in Santa Barbara for the last two years through all those wildfires. She had to evacuate more than once. Once from Goleta when she lived there and once from Santa Barbara this past spring. I was visiting summer before last and her car was covered with ashes every morning and you could see the huge mushroom clouds!
You are a hero, and heroes should be able to retire to something more comfortable. I wish you all the best.
